The Cuisinart Griddler is a small countertop kitchen appliance that is designed to help make food preparation hassle free. Aside from using it as a griddle, it is terrific for indoor grilling. Food cooks fast and the cleanup is quick and easy. The features of the Griddler make preparing meals simple and fun.

This five in one unit has an adjustable lid that makes it possible to cook foods with a variety of heights. It requires only a minimal amount of space on your countertop and has a three year guarantee. It is so versatile that you can use it as a full griddle or full grill, a Panini press, or it can be operated as half grill and half griddle all at once.

This unit is equipped with removable and reversible nonstick cooking surfaces. The cooking plates are designed to drain the grease from food as it cooks into a tray for healthier meals. Cleaning is simple since the drip tray and the cook plates are easy to remove and safe for cleaning in the dishwasher. The outer covering is stainless steel with well built Panini handles.

The Griddler also has a scraping instrument to use for cleaning the grill plates similar to other well known counter grills. The scraper can also be cleaned in the dishwasher. The unit has indicator lights that will be green when the surface reaches the preferred temperature. The temperature for the Panini and grill mode are adjusted using separate controls. This unit also includes a booklet of a number of recipes.

Similar to other countertop grills, there is a slight drop in the temperature of the grill while in use. The green indicator light turns off when the temperature drops and a sensor is triggered to heat the grill back up to the desired degree. The slight changes in heat will not affect the cooking quality of the device or alter the flavor of the food.

Because the cover of the unit is adjustable it is possible to cook foods that are various thicknesses on both sides at the same time. Although it is not required, you can use one side for the thicker item and one side for the thinner food. Foods that are different thicknesses will cook evenly no matter where they are placed on the device.

It is good to remember that the space between the bottom and top cooking surfaces is only about a half inch when the lid is closed. If you want to grill anything that is thinner than a half inch thickness it will not cook from both sides simultaneously. You will also want to consider where you put the unit since the electric cord length may not be long enough to reach an outlet.

The versatility of the Cuisinart Griddler allows for cooking a variety of food items. It cooks food fast and cleaning up is simple and quick. This small countertop kitchen appliance is great for indoor grilling when weather does not permit outdoor cooking. It is the perfect addition to the kitchen.
